Stela McManus is the proud owner and creator of Metro Beauty Lounge. She has worked in the beauty industry since 2001, doing nails for co-workers and close friends in Spain starting at the age of 18.

​

In 2004, she moved to the United States, where she went to Brio Academy in Connecticut and became a licensed aesthetician. After working only 2.5 years at “The Spa” in Fairfield, CT, she opened a small, home business,  “Steli’s Wax” in 2007. Her passion for beauty has brought Stela much success and recognition in the industry. Her business continued to grow rapidly and in 2009, Stela added a variety of services to create Metro Beauty Lounge.

As Creative Director, Stela keeps current with the latest techniques, treatments and trends. She shares her knowledge with her established clients and consults with new clients who need some advice. She will help find the best services for their needs.

​

Since opening Metro Beauty Lounge, Stela continuously educates herself by attending beauty workshops and training in NYC, Florida, Utah, Connecticut and more. In 2021 Stela graduated Cosmetology school Paul Mitchell In North Haven, CT.

Stela has a friendly personality who dedicates her time to her clients by providing high quality services. She strives to create a comfortable environment so that all who come to Metro Beauty Lounge will leave feeling special and better about themselves.
